Our client is a compressor manufacturer. We successfully customized a fully automated laser welding production line for compressor housing door panels. This is a complete turnkey project integrating high-precision laser technology, robot clusters, and a flexible manufacturing system. The compressor industry is characterized by a wide variety of models, specifications, and sizes. This fully automated laser welding production line is compatible with various product specifications, and its full-speed unmanned production increases capacity efficiency by 3 times.

Intelligent Workflow
[Flexible Feeding and Precise Positioning]
(1) The intelligent conveyor line adopts a "one-to-two" automatic material distribution system for efficient delivery of door panel substrates.
(2) Equipped with an adaptive positioning mechanism: This allows for rapid compatibility with door panel specifications of varying lengths and widths, enabling changeovers within minutes and perfectly adapting to flexible production models involving multiple product types and small batches.
[Reinforcing Rib Adaptive Welding]
(1) The door panel is precisely transferred to the reinforcing rib welding station.
(2) The high-precision modular laser welding system can intelligently handle welding tasks with 0, 1, or 2 reinforcing ribs without manual intervention.
[Robot Cluster Collaborative Welding]
(1) The door panel is transported to the four corner welding stations.
(2) Four Yaskawa laser welding robots perform high-precision collaborative operations, simultaneously completing the welding of the long welds at the four corners of the door panel and the welds at both ends of the reinforcing ribs. This design ensures extremely high cycle time efficiency and unparalleled welding consistency.
[Fully Automated Assembly and Welding of Door Panel Pins]
(1) The welded door panel is transferred to the door panel pin welding station.
(2) A high-precision three-axis modular mechanical structure ensures the positioning accuracy of the door panel.
(3) The door panel pins are automatically assembled with high precision using a vibratory feeder and gripping mechanism.
(4) Two Yaskawa laser welding robots work together to weld the door panel pins, ensuring their connection strength and durability.
[Intelligent Unloading and Palletizing]
(1) Finished door panels are automatically picked up by Yaskawa handling robots and neatly stacked onto a turnover pallet rack.
(2) The entire process operates in a closed loop, achieving continuous, stable, and clean production 24 hours a day.
